ROMEO ARM OF THE MACOMB SEWER INTERCEPTOR February 18, 2005 Update Installation of all 23-pipe sections (8-feet long, 11-feet in diameter) in the trench has been completed. Crews are in the process of removing the bulkheads in the interceptor to the east and west of the repair area. The first layer of back-fill (fly ash, a lean cement mixture) is being laid over the pipe starting at the east end of the repair area.
