ROMEO ARM OF THE MACOMB SEWER INTERCEPTOR February 11, 2005 Update Crews are installing the last of 23 pipe sections (8-feet long, 11-feet in diameter) in the trench. The first layer of back-fill (18-inches of fly ash, a lean cement mixture) is being laid over the pipe at the east end of the repair area. When pipe installation is complete, crews will begin removing the bulkheads in the pipe to the east and west of the repair area.
