Click here to return to the Executive Team section Stephen J. Kuplicki, P.E., J.D. Assistant Director Wastewater Operations Group  Stephen J. Kuplicki, P.E., J.D. Biography Mr. Kuplicki was named the Assistant Director of Wastewater Operations in January 2008, and is responsible for the operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Combined Sewage Overflow Facilities, and the Industrial Waste Control Division. Mr. Kuplicki previously served as the Manager of the Industrial Waste Control Division, where he developed, administered and enforced regulatory control programs on behalf of the City of Detroit. Prior to joining the Department in 1983, Mr. Kuplicki worked as a hydrologist and filtration consultant supporting projects in the chemical, power and petroleum industries throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Mr. Kuplicki is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of
Michigan, and a member of the Michigan State Bar. He holds a B.S
degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University, a Master
of Engineering degree with a Chemical Engineering major from the
University of Detroit, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University
of Detroit-Mercy. |
