Hampton Biography Mr. Hampton is the Mayor of the City of Inkster. He also has twenty-eight years with Wayne County government. He currently serves as Sergeant with the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, where he is Supervisor of Community Justice. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University in Mass Communications and has also received extensive training and certification in law enforcement.
